Pathways Treatment Center provides inpatient hospitalization to psychiatric and/or chemically dependent adults and adolescents in our friendly and professionally staffed medical facility.

Psychiatric Program
Pathways Treatment Center’s psychiatric program consist of a short-term stay and is designed to help people with emotional and psychiatric problems stabilize, receive appropriate medications if needed, learn healthy coping skills and develop effective plans for successful transition back o their communities.
- Daily meeting with a psychiatrist
- Counselor assigned to the patient
- Chemical Dependency Evaluation, if needed
- Family Meetings as indicated
- All therapeutic services available to patients
Chemical Dependency
Pathways provides 24-hour medically monitored detoxification for those individuals who need it as well as rehabilitation services.
Detoxification Services
For individuals who are admitted either for detox as a distinct service or as the beginning step to our chemical dependency rehabilitation program.
- Daily visit by a medical physician
- Around the clock nursing monitoring
- Medication administration by physician order
- Full therapeutic services available as tolerated by the patient
Rehabilitation Services
For individuals who have been unable to obtain or maintain sobriety in the community.
- Based on Disease Concept of Addiction
- Based on 12-Step Recovery Model
- Intensive work with individual counselor
- Group education and therapy
- Full array of therapeutic services
- Family involvement strongly encouraged
Co-Occuring Disorders
Pathways Treatment Center provides a co-occuring disorders program to treat both psychological/emotional and chemical dependency issues concurrently. Our staff assists patients in identifying the interdependent relationships between their mental health and chemical dependency issues.
Adolescents
The adolescent program is conducted in a separate wing of the treatment center from the adults. Designed to measure and reward the adolescents’ progress in treatment, each new level of progress brings additional responsibilities and privileges.
Referral Process
Out Intake Specialist and our clinical staff are available to assist you in determining the appropriateness for placement at our facility. For more information about the referral process, please call 756-3950.
Medical Staff
The medical staff at Pathways includes Board Certified Psychiatrists, Board Certified Addictionologists and internal medicine physicians. In addition, we may consult with all other medical specialties at Kalispell Regional Medical Center when indicated. We welcome the involvement of our patients’ private physicians in their care. All patients receive medical evaluations with referral for follow-up treatment as needed.
Clinical Staff
Our clinical staff includes specially trained clinicians in the fields of social work, counseling, addictions, recreational therapy and art therapy. We provide 24-hour medical monitoring and nursing care by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. The services of a psychologist are available via referral to an outside psychologist who will conduct on site interviews and testing at Pathways. We also work closely with other community professionals in coordinating and planning our patients’ care.
After Care
Pathways offers a free weekly after-care support group that focuses on disorder education and crisis planning in a group setting.
